Mini post today. I'm am thoroughly tired of eating out. We have vowed to hit a grocery store for the next couple of days. We did find a vegan restaurant in Florence called Nature's Corner which had good food and kind of grumpy staff. It actually made it fun. Lunch was a bland veggie sandwich in a diner and breakfast was hotel oatmeal mixed with peanut butter and jam, my go to solution when there aren't any nuts, seeds or fruit around as add-ins.
As a nostalgic side note Florence Oregon has one of those old style A&W drive ins where they hang a tray on your window. It seems they may even have a roller skating person bring your food. I don't really eat fast food but a quick internet search shows they don't really have a vegan option so we'll have to just admire it from afar. Pretty cool though.
Oh, and we ate the vegan jerky we found in that shop in Seaside. It was leathery but tasty. You can see the shop pictures in the photo in this post.
